This was my Maine Lobster Pot Pie. It came out in a big copper pot with the flaky pastry covering the top of it, then the waiter plated it at the table. They take off the pastry and put it on the bottom of the plate, then they reconstructed the lobster on the plate! It was so yummy.

Now that's what a call a meal!!! How fun for you to have your sister in town!!! I have to agree with you in that, you should have been a pastry chef!
I think I'm seeing a pattern here... first it was Devin shooting food....
Looks like a fabulous place!
LOVE those dinners in the city. It's not too late to fulfill your calling in life;)....we would happily submitt to being tastetesters!
do you have a good german chocolate cake recipe? It's my dad's birthday on Wednesday and that's what he wants.
Even though i am not a dessert person, i do have to say the dessert was my favorite part. That is not even because I wasn't totally sure of what was in the other courses and couldn't pronounce any of it.
I read your blog, and got to know your family. You seem to have quite a merry lot. Your presentation too is quite good. Do tell me how you managed to do this. I also want to make a similar blog. Write to me at fzeenat99@yahoo.co.uk
