Saturday was a great day because....

My sister had prom on Saturday night, (I guess they call it senior ball here.) So I went up to my parents to see her in her dress. Doesn't she look gorgeous? I can't believe she is graduating and going off to BYU. I am really going to miss her. She went with Topher Mitchell, Debbie Mitchells son. If you live by me, you probably know her as the woman who makes the twisted silver jewelry. Emily wore all Twisted jewelry to prom. She looked great. She had this great cuff bracelet on.

Then we decided to do a last minute park night. This is one of my favorite things about summer. We bring some dinner to the park, eat, talk, and play. I think it is so great for all ages. The kids love it, the men love it because they always play some kind of sport, and the girls get to sit around and talk. It was a small group because it was so last minute, but it was really fun. The guys even helped the kids play a game of softball.

Look at Andrew and Caleb, aren't they cute? They always have a great time together!

Your sister looks beautiful!! Ooohhh...how we miss those park nights. I am planning on one when we get there...you guys will be there right? It just wouldn't be a sport night at the park for Jeff without Toby there. And, it wouldn't be nearly as fun for the rest of us without you and your cute kids there. We miss you guys!

Emily looks gorgeous. I needed to call and ask how the night was. And park night sounds so fun! Brilliant idea.

I never went to any of my high school proms. I went to almost every other dance, but when it came down to the prom at the end of the year, I always broke up with a boyfriend or went out of town. For my senior prom I was engaged to my husband, and we thought about going, but didn't. Now I wish we would have gone.
